The Howl of Wolves

This legendary, highly charismatic creature can be both tender and cruel.  The wolf is a lot like us, which is no doubt why human beings have enthusiastically investigated the structure of relationships within packs and the characteristics of their impressive songs.  The song of the wolves conjures up nature in the far North, the wide open spaces and the cruel winters.  The songs may also be redolent of the emotions and communication still available within the heart of some of our forests.
